Psionic Scarf

When you manifest this power, you flick a silk scarf at one creature within range, psionically propelling it toward the target (if you have no scarf you make one out of ectoplasm). Using psychokinesis you harden the scarf considerably by impeding it in force. As a part of manifesting this power you make a ranged attack, if the attack it it target take 1d8+1 slashing damage.

Augment: You can augment this power in one or more of the following ways.

1. For every additional power point you spend, this power’s damage increases by 1d8+1 points.

2. For 1 additional power point, you may substitute the ranged attack roll part of this power with a ranged touch attack roll.

3. For 2 additional power points, you can have the scarf twist around its target if the attack hits, causing it to become entangled and considered held down for 2 rounds and fall prone. A successful reflex save negates the prone and the target is not considered held down.

4. For 8 additional power points, you can have the scarf strangle its target, if the attack hits, the targeted creature become staggered for 3 rounds unless it succeeds on a fortitude save. At the end of two rounds, the target must make another fortitude save or fall to -1 hit point as if it were suffocated.

5. For 12 additional power points, you can have the scarf outright decapitate its target if the attack hits, the targeted creature must make a fortitude save or be decapitated and die instantly in most case (as a vorpal weapon).

For every two additional power points you spend on any augmentation, the DC rises by +1.
