Raised by Wolves[edit]

Raised in the wild, you have a natural tongue with the beasts of nature, though your literate upbringing is a little lacking.

Benefit: You gain the Wild Empathy ability as a druid of your level. Treat the number of levels you have in your first class taken (or your racial hit dice if you have more than one) as your effective druid level for the purpose of this trait.

Drawback: You gain the Illiteracy ability of a barbarian.

Special: You cannot take a class at first level that grants you the Illiteracy class ability if you take this trait.

Roleplaying Ideas: Characters with this trait may favor monosyllabic words and grunts, feel out of place in civilized areas, and seek out animals to communicate with.
