"You're not going anywhere!"

The caster may target either an object (weighing no more than her maximum load), a creature within range, herself or an object she is carrying. If a targeted object is held by another creature, the holder can attempt a check to wrestle it free of the spell as if he were the target. If the caster targets a creature, the two must make an opposed check. The caster uses her caster level + her spellcasting ability score modifier. The target uses either an opposed caster check or his base attack bonus + his Strength or Dexterity modifier at his choice. Success by the caster means that the target is held in place in relation to any surface it rests upon for as long as she concentrates (up to 1 round per caster level). Restrained targets not on a surface remain where they are (such as in midair). Creatures held in place are helpless and unable to move (but may still take purely mental actions). Each round while restrained, an unwilling creature may make another opposed check as a standard action. A restrained creature can be moved by another creature making a Strength check (DC 10 + the caster's caster level) as if the creature were a maximum load (moving the restrained creature up to 5 feet per round as a full-round action). A restrained creature can withstand no more than five times the caster's maximum load in weight, ending the spell immediately.

The spell ends if the target and caster exceed the spell's range. A willing target may voluntarily forgo an opposed check.

The caster gains a +2 bonus to her check if her target is the same creature type or suffers a -2 penalty if the target creature is not. She gains no bonus or penalty against targeting objects.
