Restricted Aligned Spells

Introduction[edit]

According to the rules for druids, you actually lose access to specific spells if you have faith in a deity. This means that having a deity makes a druid weaker. Logically, this makes no sense, and thus the rules for aligned spells must be changed.

Rule Mechanics[edit]

Aligned spells may only be cast by spellcasters who worship a deity of that alignment. Spellcasters that do not worship a deity cannot cast aligned spells.

As an exception, spells that change their alignment based on the creature summoned may be cast as long as the alignment descriptors are one step away from the spellcaster's alignment.

Usage of Use Magic Device can, of course, be used to bypass this restriction.
