Rieyou is the Uzarran god of good dragons. His followers revere nature and do what they can for all life to prosper.
Origin[edit]
When Uzarra was created by Lord Itsetsaan, He realized that for life and culture to properly flourish, there would need to be a variety of figures the Uzarrans would see as deities. Itsetsaan then created the Exalted Triad: Aurinko, Rieyou, and Gwyyndaluce, from the very fabric of Koti. To bring balance to Uzarra, He also created the Atrocious Three: Salaisuus, Azkuul-tonne, and Viha. These beings were confined to Koti by Itsestaan, and they have been warring on Koti since their creation with the help of their most devout followers.
Description[edit]
Rieyou appears to his followers in his draconic form. He is long and slender, with four legs and no wings. His scales are a bright gold with streaks of blue and red along his underbelly. He has four thick, long whiskers, and when he breathes thin puffs of smoke are blown from his nostrils. He communicates telepathically, and can choose to have his voice perceived any way he wishes.
Dogma[edit]
Rieyou encourages his followers to help life around them prosper and thrive. His most devout followers plant new seeds every week, many keeping their own vegetable gardens (if they have the resources). Some raise animals instead, and meat from these followers is highly prized amongst Uzarran nobility for its taste and tenderness as the animals are truly happy during their lifetime. Rieyou understands that all life must eventually come to an end, but unnecessary killing and suffering help no one, and are a very easy way to incur the wraith of Rieyou.
Clergy and Temples[edit]
Temples to Rieyou are common throughout urban and rural Uzarra. Revered by farmers as much as nobility, Rieyou and his followers are generally well accepted in almost any city. His temples in urban areas are a grand sight, with a golden carved dragon coiling around the entrance way.
His clergy generally do what they can to preserve life. Many of them volunteer their time out in rural areas helping farmers maximize their harvest, while others in urban areas work out of their temples to cure sickness and injury.

Rieyou is part of the Exalted Triad, a subsect of the Uzarran Starlords.
