This saddle is well-made, it's fine black leather is inscribed with small runes that glows slightly red. It is comfortable, well balanced and when used make the rider feel a strong bond with it mount.
The rider of a mount equipped with a saddle of protection may take up an amount of damage, between 1d6 and 10d6 damage, as an immediate action. The rider’s mount gaina number of temporary hit points equal to the damage taken by the rider, these temporary hit points last for 1 minute.
