Sealed Potential [General] Through disciplined training or mystic means, you can seal away a part of your potential each day. When combat begins, you can unseal it and gain a brief surge of power at the cost of the sealed state.Benefit: At the start of each day, you may choose one ability score (Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma) to seal. When sealed, that ability score gains a penalty, up to -5, but you cannot go below 5 in that ability score. This penalty affects all rolls and checks that rely on that ability score (e.g., Strength for attack rolls, Dexterity for AC, etc.).

Once combat begins, you may choose to temporarily remove the seal on your chosen ability score as a free action. The ability score will return to its normal value, and you will gain a +1 bonus to that ability score per -1 of the seal had put on that ability score for 1 minute. After 1 minute, the ability score becomes sealed again, the bonus disappears, and your stat is sealed again.

You may remove fully remove the seal by meditating for 2 hours. This fully removes the seal and returns your stat to its original state without the seal. Example: At the start of the day, you decide to seal your Strength. Your Strength is reduced by 5 points. During combat, you unseal your Strength, putting your strength back to normal and giving a +5 bonus to it for 1 minute. After the minute ends, your Strength becomes sealed again with the penalty. If you seal your Strength again the following day, the penalty would be -10.Normal: Normally, ability scores are not sealed or reduced in this way.Special: You may only seal one ability score per day. If you seal the same ability score on consecutive days, the penalty increases by the chosen amount at the beginning of the day. You may not unseal the same ability score more than once per day.
