After a quick word, you and your equipment melds into the ground as a dark shadow.

The target of this spell gains a climb speed of 20ft. It does not become flat-footed when climbing, and may run while climbing. Furthermore, the target's size AC increases by +2.

The equipment melds into the body, but its [investment] effects are not lost. Natural Armor and Armor Class bonuses are not lost.

A creature under a Shadow Shift effect may not attack, grapple, jump, or fly.

The target loses all your height, and may travel through threatened areas without provoking an attack of opportunity. The target is tethered to the surface you are on. The target may not pick up or drop items while under a Shadow Shift effect.

If the target is not moving while in shadowy illumination, it gains a +2 circumstance bonus to Stealth checks.

Enhanced: The climb speed is 30ft instead.

Diminished: The climb speed is 10ft instead.

Immune: No effect.
