Shadow Stalker

While most rangers are most comfortable while in nature, others can flourish in any environment as long as they are cloaked in shadows and darkness.

Class: Ranger

Level: 1, 4, 7, 13, 17

Replaces: Wild Empathy, Spellcasting, Woodland Stride, Camouflage, Hide In Plain Sight

Benefit: At 1st level Shadow Stalkers gain darkvision 30 ft.

At 4th level Shadow Stalkers gain spellcasting at the same rate as any other ranger but the spell list is changed All spells that interact with animals or plants, including summon nature's ally are not available to the Shadow Stalker. Instead Shadow Stalkers have access to the assassin's spell list, cast as prepared divine spells

At 7th level the range of the Shadow Stalker's darkvision increases to 60ft

The Camouflage (gained at 13 level) and Hide in Plain Sight (gained at 17) abilities of the Shadow Stalker now apply anywhere except in natural daylight, the area of a daylight spell, or a similar effect rather than natural environments.
