Spell Dedication (Abjuration) [General]
Prerequisites: Spell Focus (Abjuration) or specialized in AbjurationBenefit: All of your Abjuration spells count as dispel magic for the purposes of counterspelling spells of their level or lower. Once per spell level per day, if you have an unprepared spell slot and ready an action to counterspell, as part of the action to counterspell if you identify the spell being cast and have the spell known, you may ready the spell in that open slot.
Additionally, Abjuration spells you cast have +1 caster level.
Example: An enemy Wizard is going to cast a spell at you. You think they're going to cast fireball, which you know, but did not prepare. You ready an action to counterspell, succeed on your Spellcraft check, and determine that actually they're casting lightning bolt which you do not know. Instead you drop your magic circle against evil which for this purpose counts as a dispel magic.Normal: Counterspelling is even more inconvenient than this.Special: A Wizard may take take this feat as one of their bonus feats. They must still meet the prerequisites as normal.
