Stasis Energy Field

Area: 120ft-radius emanation, centred on you
Duration: 1 round/level (see text)
Saving Throw: Fort partial (see text)
Spell Resistance: Yes

This spell creates a broad field infused with lightning. It flares around any creatures in it, burning them and freezing their muscles in place from electrical shock.

All creatures within the area (except the caster) must make a Fort save each time they end their round in its area. If they fail this save, they are paralyzed for 1 round and dealt 6d6 electricity damage. A passed save halves the damage and ignores the paralysis. The caster is immune to the damage and paralysis, and can exclude any creature they can see from its effects as a free action.
