A cruel cursed item, the stone mask is by all appearance a very useful item, it appear to be an unusually thick mask made of incredibly dense stone. Eteched into the mask is a face with large lips and eyes but no nose, the face is sport an exaggerated smile. The A heavy mask made of thrudstone, it confer all benefits of a thrudstone heavy armor as well as a +4 armor bonus to AC, it count as light armor for class features and abilities. While worn the mask allow the wearer to cloud his presence as per mass cloud mind and influence creature as per insidious suggestion at will.
The cursed part is insidiously hidden, the mask is an intelligent item that love to see it wearer's suffer. No more than once per hour it will make one sentence uttered by another creature within close range into an insidious suggestion, using the spell to it full potential. The mask choose it sentence carefully and seek to maximize misery for the wearer. Once the mask make a successful suggestion it will stop for 24 hours.
Once the creature realize the mask's true power (typically by succeeding both will save against one of it insidious suggestion and the wearer attempt to remove it, it will remain stuck on the creature's head and become extremely heavy. It weight change to 300 pounds, it count as heavy armor for the purpose of class feature and movement.
Only a powerful spell can remove the baneful mask, break enchantment and stronger can dislodge the mask form the wearer's head. However the caster of the spell must make a caster level check (DC 23), on a failure the mask take on a angry expression and become burning hot; dealing 5d6 fire damages to the wearer each round (bypassing fire resistance and halving fire immunity). Worse yet, if the creature either attempt to remove the mask while it burning or another spell to break the enchantment is casted onto the mask and fail to beat the caster level check, the mask will melt into molten stone. The wearer then take 20d6 fire damage each round (bypassing fire resistance and halving fire immunity) and must immediately make constitution checks to avoid suffocating, the mask is immediately destroyed after 3 round if the enchantment is successfully broken.
