Suppressor[edit]
A suppressor is a muzzle, either cylindrical or rectangular in shape which significantly reduce the noise produced with a firearm when fired by trapping gasses. The use of a suppressor is usually enough to prevent harm to the weapon wielder's auditory system. The use a suppressor increases the Listen DC required to hear a firearm shot by 10. A suppressor can be affixed or removed from a firearm as a full-round action which provokes an attack of opportunity.
The usual DC to hear a firearm shot depends on the weapon, with most pistols being DC -10 and most rifles being DC -20.
