always great to see archers get more love, also gives them more aoe options.

I like this, its got a fun flavor for doing a shower of arrows like you see in movies. Manyshot allows you to fire multiple shots at once, so why not have them all go at the same time? This helps for fighting swarms and gives a fun side bonus of hitting 2 nearby enemies simultaneously.

Side note: This feat is now listed as a standard action for hitting two squares simultaneously, so technically Ghostwheel's rating needs to be updated.

About that side note, as much as I'd like for Ghost to give a more positive review, that's not actually the case. It's a standard action to get an area larger than 5' radius. So you can still hit multiple targets with your attack actions. They gotta be touching butts relatively speaking, so it's more circumstantial. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 01:20, 22 April 2019 (MDT)

I like how this allows you to hit multiple enemies in the same area. It is also good that it advances with BAB. It also has a significant amount of prerequisites (with the required feats needing other feats to get). Thus it is well within moderate balance, because of the feat requirements.

Side note: haters gotta hate sometimes. Regardless, this feat is well done.

As much as I love this concept, I cannot really support it as how it's worded, it's very, very not-moderately balanced.

I'd like to point out that a 5ft radius around a target is practically a 15ft x 15ft square. You can strike up to nine enemies this way, and with something like Flurry of Blows, or Rapid Shot, you double the amount of AoE attacks you can make in one turn. If people are closely knit together, that means you can overlap the AoE attacks in a way that you're practically attacking all the same people twice.

I feel this is a Very High balance feat when looked at with the context of it's possible synergies. The lack of action economy price makes it an absurdly easily breakable feat, while making it always a Standard Action makes it practically a ranged Whirlwind Attack.

I feel as though having a straight damage multiplier whenever enemies are adjacent to each other is way too powerful for Moderate balance. Moderate balance feats don't tend to have much of an impact on an encounter, and +100% damage in a fairly common situation is way too powerful for a Moderate-level feat (or even more if more than 2 enemies are adjacent to each other).

This could be fixed either by making this feat be only used on a standard action, or by simply rating it at a higher level of balance.

EDIT: Over time, my feelings have soured for this feat. I honestly feel it has no place in a Moderate game, what with how easily it can let you multiply your damage against non-negligible foes.
