Templar's Declaration
Universal
Level: Paladin 4, Cleric 7
Components: V
Casting time: 1 swift action
Range: Personal
Target: You
Duration: Until end of encounter.
Saving Throw: None
Spell Resistance: No

"Demon or sellsword, it's all semantics! Any who oppose the mission are heretics, and will be shown no mercy by the edge of my blade!"

Special: While this is not alloted the [Good] subtype, the caster cannot be evil. You may catch a LN Cleric doing this, but it'd be WAY out of character for a CE one.

Any nongood character who is either Unfriendly or worse towards you, is currently taking an active role in opposing one of your current goals/missions/quests, or is responsible for a substantial setback to one of your previous quests is considered Lawful Evil, Neutral Evil, or Chaotic evil for the sake of your spells, abilities, items, etc. when convenient. They can even be several at once if it helps you.

Note, if you activate this while a good character opposes you, you become a valid target for it if it's in their spell list, and if they do activate it, they become a valid target as well. After all, your zeal could be falsely put against a higher cause as well. We will let steel decide who is righteous.

In addition if used in tandem with Holy Sword, a Holy Avenger, or any other powerful holy weapon or weapon sanctified via spell, you may use the weapon as a focus for alignment based spells even if they don't require one, and if you use the weapon that way and kill with a spell cast such a way, or kill with a smite attack, any enemy killed this way may have their body annihilated in golden lightning-fire, their soul destroyed, or both, at your discretion.

Final note, the Vocal spell component is immune to a Bard's Countersong, and must be some zealous shout or phrase, like the example in the flavor text. If you're short on time and/or imagination, "Deus vult!" is usually acceptable.
