BURNBURNBURNBURNBURNBURN

Burn. Everything.

Fiends which perished in the Plane of Fire were reborn as avatars of the destructive capacity of fire. They are broad shouldered squat humanoids, with fiendish blackened skulls for faces, a barrel chested rib cage of iron and bone, black smoke for wings, and a long jagged tail of iron and bone surrounding a current of black and red swirling flames. The top of their hunched backs are open, venting massive black jets of flames that almost resemble horns. Their minds have been consumed by the desire to burn everything away in their tainted black and red blaze.

Combat

Umbraflame fiends are full of hate and lust of destruction, wishing to turn everything into ash. They are not mindless however, and are often sadistic if they can burn things which have meaning to its opponents. In combat they usually start out with blackflame or fireballs at range, then once injured they go berserk into melee, using its Consumption ability to recover damage.

Burning (Ex): The umbraflame fiend is naturally on fire. All of its natural attacks, and any metal weapon it wields, deal an additional 1d6 fire damage. Creatures striking its body with natural weapons or unarmed strikes also take 1d6 for each successful attack or touch attack.

Consumption (Su): The more violence the umbraflame commits, the hotter it burns with a passion to kill. For every successful melee attack it makes it recovers an amount of hp equal to its burning damage, up to a maximum of the amount of damage it has taken 1 round ago. It cannot restore damage taken longer than 1 round ago.

Crucible Heart (Su): The umbraflame burns away all things, even the nonphysical. When afflicted with a status effect it may choose to burn the status. The duration of the status becomes 1d4 rounds or its original duration, whichever is shorter. Burning a status is a non-action and can be done even if the fiend cannot act itself, but it can only burn one status at a time and must wait til its current burning status is expended.

Immunities (Ex): The umbraflame fiend is immune to ability damage, ability drain, and energy drain.

Spell-Like Abilities (Sp): Caster level 16th. At will-heat metal (DC 17), pyrotechnics (DC 17), raging flame^SpC, scorching ray; 3/day-fireball (DC 18), wall of fire (DC 19); 2/day-blackflame^SpC (DC 26); 1/day-barghest's feast^SpC (DC 25). The saving throws are Charisma based.
