Meteor Fall
Unseen Shackles Excluded (Strike)
Level: 3
Prerequisite: Two Unseen Shackles maneuvers
Initiation Action: Full-round action
Range: See Text
Target: One Creature, object or empty square
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: Reflex half, see text

As you initiate this maneuver, you plunge down using the forces of gravity to accelerate the momentum and velocity of your fall. You immediately plunge 20 feet per initiator level. If you land on an empty square and plunge at least 100 feet you cause 10 feet of difficult terrain around the square you landed in, all creatures within that area must make a Reflex save or fall prone. You take no fall damage from the impact.

If you aim to land on a creature you deal 1d8 bludgeoning damage per initiator level (max 10d8), but it is limited to 1d8 for each 5 feet you plunge (so a 10 feet fall only deals 2d8 damage). You take half the damage dealt to the target. If you wear medium armor you deal an additional 1d8 damage, and an additional 2d8 if you wear heavy armor. The creature is cratered into the ground, both made prone and immobilized for 1 round. The creature may make a Reflex save to halves the damage and negate being cratered into the ground.

If the creature survives the attack, you land in the closest adjacent space. If the creature perishes you crush it beneath you and land in its square.
