Void Born[edit]
You are a hole in the weave. Magic cannot see you, touch you, or hear you.
Benefit: Choose one or more types of "magic" from the following list: arcane, divine, psionic. You cannot be affected by any spells or abilities that allow SR that come from the source of selected magic types. Furthermore, they ignore attacks from summoned creatures or summoned materials completely from the above sources, as long as their duration is temporary. For example, while someone with Void Born would ignore illusions, summoned creatures, and the like (registering their presence as faint outlines), they would not ignore mundane terrain moved by the move earth spell and would fall through a wall of force over a pit should they try to walk over it.
Drawback: You cannot be affected by any item which duplicates an ability from a type which you are immune to, though this does not include effects that are not completely duplicated by spells. For example, had you chosen arcane magic, you could not use a pair of winged boots since they duplicate the fly spell, though you could use an item that gave you permanent flight while wearing it. Furthermore, you cannot use any spells, powers, or spell-like/power-like abilities drawn from the banned magic type.
Roleplaying Ideas: Characters who have this trait may abhor a type of magic, not believe that it truly exists, or desperately want to use something that they will never be able to.
