With Sunglasses[edit]

A creature with sunglasses is way more rad than their counterparts.

Adding Sunglasses[edit]

Sunglasses can be added to any creature. It naturally has a pair of sunglasses connected to its spirit that cannot be removed, lost or broken. They remain clean, shedding dust and smudges easily. If a creature with sunglasses is killed, the sunglasses can potentially be looted, but hold no special powers. After all, the power of sunglasses was in it all along.

Features[edit]

Bright Light Vision (Su): A creature with sunglasses gains bright-light vision.

Cool Tricks (Ex): A creature with sunglasses gains maximum free ranks in a skill that lets it be a show off, such as Perform (flaming guitar) or Profession (stunt dinosaur). If this check requires a piece of equipment (such as a masterwork instrument or a wheelboard), the creature with sunglasses can summon one as a free action on its turn (though the implement disappears 10 minutes after leaving the creature's possession). They suffer no improvised weapon penalty when using their cool trick focus item to attack, treating it as whatever weapon it most closest resembles.

Covered Eyes (Ex): A creature with sunglasses is harder to read, gaining a +2 bonus on Bluff, increasing Sense Motive DCs by +2, and granting a +2 bonus on counter checks or DCs against being goaded, socially manipulated or intimidated. However, any DC from a gaze ability it possesses suffers a –2 penalty.

Gnarly Moves (Ex): A creature with sunglasses can ignore terrain-based movement penalties to its speeds, but takes a –2 penalty to AC in any round in which it does so, as it tricks, stunts and swaggers its way through tough spots.

Way Rad (Su): As an immediate action, a creature with sunglasses can change a d20 that it just rolled to a "15". This ability is usable a number of times per day equal to its HD total (minimum of 1). When it needs to show off in style, it can't leave things to chance. If it uses this ability to beat a creature in an opposed check for its Cool Tricks ability, it does not expend a daily use if it wins.
