This full plate appears to be made out of giant organic scales. When exposed to extraplanar energies the entire armor seems to breathe and twitch as if alive.
This +1 elderein full plate gives no arcane spell failure to dark insight spells. Designed to face against eldritch threats which often requires travel to hostile outer planar environments, and the armor can assist in returning you to your home plane if you become lost. You may return to your native plane over the course of 1 round whenever you are extraplanar or within the warped plane, as if using plane shift (self only). This provokes attacks of opportunity. This also occurs as a non-action if you happen to perish while wearing the armor on another plane. If this effect is suppressed (for example via dimensional anchor) it goes off as soon as it is no longer suppressed.
Creatures with dark insight and at least 3 HD may spend 1 point of insight to gain the use of avoid planar effectsSpC with a caster level equal to your character level.
