Havocker, Fix
A remake of the Havocker Witch to give it a bit more bite. This altered version keeps some hexes which is the witch’s most unique class feature. In addition the way spellburn is used is altered to be keyed to the burn cost, rather than level of the infusion.
Class: Witch
Level: 1st, 2nd, 6th, 8th, 10th, 14th, 18th, 20th
Replaces: Patron, Hex (Altered Progression), Major Hex, Grand Hex
Benefit: A havocker receive the following class features:
Patron's Element: As the havocker witch archetype class feature. The havoker uses their Intelligence instead of Constitution for the elemental focus and kinetic blast class features. This ability alters the witch's patron and replaces the witch’s 1st-level hex.
Infusion: As the havocker witch archetype class feature. An Havocker count her witch level as kineticist level for the purpose of the Extra Wild Talent feat and other feat's prerequisites, although she may only select infusion wild talents this way. This ability replaces the witch’s hexes gained at 2nd level and each 4 levels thereafter, Major Hex and Grand Hex.
Spellburn: Beginning at 2nd level, a havocker can channel stored spell energy into her kinetic blast to increase the blast’s overall utility and power. To use her infusions, the havocker must lose a prepared witch spell to apply the infusion to her kinetic blast. Any spell sacrificed is required to have a spell level equal to or greater than the infusion’s burn cost. The havocker can accept additional burn if the infusion would allow her to do so, increasing the level of the spell she needs to sacrifice by the extra burn cost.
Expanded Havoc: At 8th level, the havocker gain access to the composite blast granted to her Patron's Element as per Expanded Element with the same element. She must use spellburn to use the composite blast, expending a spell slot equal to the burn cost of the composite blast alongside the cost of any infusion she wishes to apply to it. This replaces the Hex gained at 8th level.
