Havocker, Fix

A remake of the Havocker Witch to give it a bit more bite. This altered version keeps some hexes which is the witch’s most unique class feature. In addition the way spellburn is used is altered to be keyed to the burn cost, rather than level of the infusion.

Class: Witch

Level: 1st, 2nd, 6th, 8th, 10th, 14th, 18th, 20th

Replaces: Patron, Hex (Altered Progression), Major Hex, Grand Hex

Benefit: A havocker receive the following class features:

Patron's Element: As the havocker witch archetype class feature. Except the havoker uses their Intelligence instead of Constitution for the elemental focus and kinetic blast class features. An Havocker count her witch level as kineticist level for the purpose of meeting prerequisites. This ability alters the witch's patron and replaces the witch’s 1st-level hex.

Infusion: As the havocker witch archetype class feature. This ability replaces the witch’s hexes gained at 2nd level and each 4 levels thereafter.

Spellburn: Beginning at 2nd level, a havocker can channel stored spell energy into her kinetic blast to increase the blast’s overall utility and power. To use her infusions, the havocker must lose a prepared witch spell to apply the infusion to her kinetic blast. Any spell sacrificed is required to have a spell level equal to or greater than the infusion’s burn cost. The havocker can accept additional burn if the infusion would allow her to do so, increasing the level of the spell she needs to sacrifice by the extra burn cost.

Elemental Hexes (Su): At 4th level, an havocker can select a utility wild talent available to her patron elements instead of an hex. The chosen utility wild talent must be of the same level or lower than the highest witch spell the havocker can cast and must have a burn cost of 0. If an utility wild talent has a burn cost to improve it effect, then the havocker may pay it using spellburn.

This ability alters the hexes.

Havoc Channeler (Ex): At 5th level, a havocker can channel her dark energy in her blast, as a swift action she can grant herself a +1 bonus on attack rolls and damage rolls with her kinetic blasts for 1 round. The damage bonus doesn’t apply to kinetic blade, kinetic whip, or other infusions that don’t apply the damage bonus from elemental overflow. If the havocker uses a physical blast, this bonus increase by 1.

This bonus increases by 1 at 8th level and every 3 levels thereafter.

Expanded Havoc: An havocker of 8th level or higher gain access to the composite blast granted to her Patron's Element as per Expanded Element with the same element. She must use spellburn to use the composite blast, expending a spell slot equal to twice the burn cost of the composite blast alongside the burn cost of any infusion she wishes to apply to it. This replaces the hex gained at 8th level.
