Mindrender Mesmerist

Initially part of a cabal of witch dedicated to an otherworldly patron, the mindrender mesmerists are scholars with knowledge of sanity eroding knowledge. Level: 1st-17th

Replaces: Consummate Liar, Mesmerist Trick (1st only), Manifold Trick, Touch Treatment

Benefit: A mindrender mesmerist gain the following class features:

Phantasmagorical Scholar (Ex): A Mindrender Mesmerist uses her Intelligence instead of her Charisma for all mesmerist class features (including spellcasting). A mindrender mesmerist may use all Knowledge checks untrained and gain a bonus on all Knowledge checks equal to half her class level.

This ability replaces consummate liar.

Mindrending Stare (Su): Instead of its normal penalties, a mindrender mesmerists's hypnotic stare causes ongoing erosion of sanity. A creature under the effect of mindrender's hypnotic stare suffers two points of cumulative Wisdom penalty at the start of each of its turns. Each round the target isn't under the effect of the mindrender mesmerists's hypnotic stare, the Wisdom penalty is reduced by 4. The mindrender mesmerist's hypnotic stare does not confer a penalty on Will save, but any penalties from selected bold stare applies normally.

If the target's wisdom reach 1, it become dazed for 1 round takes the mindrender mesmerists's painful stare damage immediately, as if the mindrender mesmerist damaged it. This does not count against the limit of painful stare a mesmerist can use in any given round. Afterward the target's Wisdom penalty is reduced by half.

Unlike a hypnotic stare, the mindrendingstare has obvious telltale signs it is being used and is malicious. This typically manifests as a third eye opening with writhing tentacles emerging from it. As usual the target does not remember any of such effect, but nearby creatures certainly do.

This ability alters hypnotic stares.

Occult Hex (Su): At 1st 3rd level, 6th, 10th and 14th level a mindrender mesmerist gains a Witch's Hex, using her mesmerist level as her effective witch level. If she takes an harmful hex which target a creature, she may only use it against the target of her Hypnotic Stare.

This ability replaces the first level mesmerist trick and touch treatment.

Hostile Vision (Ex): At 3rd level the mindrender mesmerist adds the mind thrust spells from the mesmerist spell list, at the same level they appear on the psychic list.

At 13th level she add explode head to her list of spell known, except that it is of the divination school and offer a Will save instead of a Fortitude save.

This ability replaces Manifold Trick.
