This spoon has an ornate handle which has the image of a person engraved upon it. Upon being filled with edible yet poisoned materials, the face upon the spoon flakes off and reveals a skull underneath.
A preferred tool of nobles paranoid about assassination, this eating utensil detects ingested poisons as per detect poison when used on poisoned food. If the food is tainted, the utensil's engraved image of a person turns into the engraving of a skeleton instead. The change is permeant, requiring replacement of the spoon though it is still functional as an eating utensil after the change.
This also comes in Safefork and (rarely) Safeknives.
