Swift Parrying Jian [Style]
You have learned the highly defensive style of the Swift Parrying Jian, using quick bladework as a shield and to quick repositioning.Prerequisites: Dodge, Weapon Focus (Longsword)Benefit: When fighting with a longsword in one hand and nothing in the other you gain a +1 Shield Bonus to AC. This bonus increase to +2 if you have Greater Weapon Focus (Longsword). In these conditions if a creature attacks you in melee and misses, you may move 5 feet as a nonaction, this movement must be within the attacked creature's threatened area if possible. After moving this way, you count as flanking the attacking creature for your next attack made within the round.
This movement does not provoke an attack of opportunity nor does it counts against your limit of 5-ft. step for the round.
Special: Upon taking this feat, you treat the longsword as a finessable weapon. Which is to say, that it can be used alongside Weapon Finesse.
