Your eldritch blast turns into black lightning bolts which induce muscle spasms and paralytic fits. You deal electrical damage, and gain a +3 bonus on attack rolls against creatures made of or carrying significant amounts of metal, or with metallic heavy armor. For 1 round, targets have a 20% chance of failing to perform an action as paralysis briefly sets in. This does not render them helpless. Immunity to paralysis renders them immune to the failure chance of this essence.
