Traceur [Archetype, Tactical] Benefit: Archetype Feats grant benefits based on HD:

  • 1 HD: You may use your Dexterity modifier when using the Climb and Jump skill instead of your Strength modifier. You always count as having a running start when jumping and you can hop up (see the Jump skill description) onto any object shorter than your height without a Jump check. Additionally you gain access to the Back on your Feet and Running Tumble tactical maneuvers:
  • Back on your Feet: You may stand up from Prone as a swift action which do not provoke attacks of opportunity.
  • Running Tumble: You may make a Tumble checks when you take a Run action, however you take -10 penalty when doing so (which is cancelled by the 3 HD benefit).
  • 3 HD: You move extremely quickly and proficiently, you gain a +10 increase to your land speed, the benefits of the Run feat and may use the Balance, Climb, Tumble skills quickly with no penalty (such as moving at full speed when tumbling or making an accelerated climbing check) or increase in DC of your check. Additionally you gain access to the Rebound and Wall Jumping tactical maneuvers:
  • Rebound: When you are forcefully moved, such as being the victim of a Awesome Blow or Bull Rush and you impact a vertical surface you may make a Jump check as a immediate action, moving the full distance of your jump and possibly avoiding any damage from the impact or even propel you in a different direction.
  • Wall Jumping: You gain the Double Jump extraordinary special ability, although it only work if you are adjacent to a vertical surface. You may make a single Double Jump per round per 4 ranks in Jump you have.
  • 8 HD: You may perform any move action as a swift action, however when doing so the distance you would travel is halved.
  • 15 HD: You no longer halves your movement when using the a move action as a swift action.

Special: If you ever stop qualifying for this feat, you can trade it for another archetype feat you meet the prerequisites.
