Eyes of The Phoenix [Mantra, Psionic]
Prerequisites: Manifester level 5th, must be able to manifest a power with the [Fire] descriptor and one [Mantra] feat.Benefit: To activate Eyes of Phoenix you must meditate to gain psionic focus. Focusing in this fashion requires a concentration check 5 higher than normal. This mantra lasts for 1 minute as long as you maintain psionic focus. While active, six blue 'eyes' made of pure psionic flames orbit around you. As an attack action you may fire one of those 'eyes', making a ranged touch attack within medium range, dealing 1d8 + your highest mental ability score modifier in pure psionic damage. Once per round per opponent, if you are struck with a melee attack you may fire one of the 'eyes' at it as a free action usable outside of your turn, this does not provoke an attack of opportunity. You may replenish a single 'eye' as a move action.
While at least one flame is active you can see through it, negating any blindness you may have and granting you Bright-light Vision. The flames are not vulnerable to gaze attacks, as a result many users of the mantra close their eyes while using it. If four or more flame are active you have 360 degree vision and thus cannot be flanked. You gain one extra 'eye' at 10th and 15th level.
As a full-round action you may expend your psionic focus, firing all eyes immediately. You do not need to target the same creatures but you only add your highest mental ability score modifier once per target. Alternatively if you possess at least seven 'eyes', you may focus all the flames on one point, replicating the effect of firestar except it deals pure psionic damage and is limited to close range.
