Shatterstrike[edit]

When you strike a critical hit you can hit with even greater force, at the cost of your weapon temporarily. As a non-action on a confirmed critical hit, you can choose to increase the critical multiplier by x1 (to a maximum of x5). However when you do, your weapon shatters into pieces and becomes unusable. Enhancements are not lost, but it requires a standard action that provokes attacks of opportunity to reform your blade from the broken shards, which float back into position to be used again.

Shatterstrike can only be placed on melee weapons.

Faint Evocation; CL 3rd; Craft Magic Arms and Armor, shatter; Price: +1.
