Bloodbinder

A bloodbinder is an occultist with a unique bloodline, such as from a line of sorcerers or a descendant of an outsider. While they lack the raw talents of a sorcerer, a bloodbinder is able to bind the power of her own bloodline, drawing upon it with sheer efficiency.

Class: Occultist

Level: 1st, 4th, 11th, 17th

Replaces: Spellcasting, Shift Focus, Outside Contact

Benefit: A bloodbinder gain access to the following class features:

Power of Bloodline: A bloodbinder bases off all of her occultist class features, including those from archetype, off her Charisma rather than her Intelligence. This includes her spellcasting, how many mental focus she has, the DCs of her implement, etc.

Blood Implements: Rather than investing her mental focus in magical objects and occult curiosity, the bloodbinder brings forth her by binding her own supernatural bloodline. When she prepares her implement, instead of empowering a set of items, the bloodbinder instead draws a sigil on her own skin, empowers an already existing tattoo, inserts a golden needle inside her own arm or similar measures. As a result her implements are part of her body, and cannot be removed from her, or passed to allies. The bloodbinder may still select panoply, simply requiring the correct implement school rather than a specific object.

A bloodbinder starts with only a single implement at 1st level, and chooses a single sorcerer bloodline. She gain access to that spell's bloodline arcana and add the bloodline spells to her spell known at the listed level: She gain the 3rd level bloodline spell at 1st level, the 5th level bloodline spell at 4th level, the 7th level bloodline spell at 7th level, the 9th level bloodline spell at 10th level, the 11th level bloodline spell at 13th level and the 13th level bloodline spell at 16th level.

This ability alters implement, but isn't incompatible with other archetypes which alters implement unless it also alters their form or numbers (such as the battle host, reliquarian or the silksworn).

Heritage Manifest: At 4th level a bloodbinder gain Eldritch Heritage as a bonus feat. At 8th level she gains Improved Eldritch Heritage as a bonus feat. Finally at 16th level she gains Greater Eldritch Heritage. She does not need to meet the prerequisites of any of those feats.

his ability replaces shift focus and outside contact.
