This strange pot can mysteriously transmute items into other items of equal or lesser value, store spirits, and hover around.
This multipurpose jug or vase has a strange array of functions. Once per day an item can be placed inside and the jug sealed. The item is exchanged for another item(s) of equal or lesser value. Which item(s) appear is according to the following chart. Once an item is traded successfully it cannot be traded by this same magic item again.
d% | Behavior |
---|---|
01–10 | A random item of lesser value. |
11–20 | The same item/item is not exchanged. |
21–70 | A random item of equal value. |
71–100 | It is something the user wishes for. |
The pot has another function to trap spirits. The pot is solid to incorporeal creatures, effectively ghost touched, but cannot be manipulated by the incorporeal and thus if the lid is sealed over an incorporeal creature in the pot they are unable to escape.
Lastly, if a creature steps inside the pot they can move around in it, gaining a hover speed (perfect) equal to their land speed and benefiting from cover. If the lid is placed on as a move action, the user gains total cover. Beware, some magic jars are said to be cursed; once a creature steps into the jar they will be unable to leave.
The pot has hardness 8 and 50 hp.
