Telekinetic Sage
A telekinetic sage is a sorcerer who specializes in the art of telekinesis from a young age. From the early study of the mage hand spell, gaining incredible agility while wielding it, to being able to strike opponents at range with a telekinetic strike. A telekinetic sage’s training overtakes some of the inherent ability she would gain as a result of her heritage. Most telekinetic sages belong to arcane or psychic bloodlines, but some telekinetic sages of more exotic bloodlines exist.
Class: Sorcerer
Level: 1st, 3rd, 9th, 11th, 15th, 19th
Replaces: Bloodline Arcana (or Bloodline Skill), Bloodline Spells (altered), 1st Bloodline Power, 3rd Bloodline Power
Benefit: A telekinetic sage gain access to the following class features:
Bonus Spells: An telekinetic sage replaces her bloodline spell with the following spells at the listed level: greater mage handSpC (3rd), telekinesis (9th), etheric shard (11th), telekinetic sphere (15th), implosion (19th).
This ability alters bloodline spells.
Bonus Feat: A telekinetic sage add the following feat to her list of bloodline feat: Magehander, Telekinetic Proficiency and Whirling Hand of Sorcery.
Telekinetic Arcana: A telekinetic sage gain Major Hand as a bonus feat, except that she can make skill checks at range without the –4 penalty. Additionally whenever she make an attack telekinetically, such as with her hand of sorcery ability, or the blade spiral or telekinesis spell, or the Magehander feat, she add half of her sorcerer level as a bonus on attack and damage rolls.
This ability replaces bloodline arcana, except for the psychic bloodline where it replaces the bloodline skill.
Hand of Sorcery (Su): A telekinetic sage's paranormal abilities allows her to strike at range. She causes her melee weapon to fly from her grasp and strike a foe before instantly returning to her. As a standard action, she can make a single attack using a melee weapon within close range. This attack is treated as a ranged attack with a thrown weapon, except that she add her Charisma modifier on attack roll instead of her Dexterity, and one damage roll instead of Strength. This ability cannot be used to perform a combat maneuver. She can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + half her sorcerer level + her Charisma modifier.
If she cast a spell which handles her weapon with telekinesis (such as blade spiral), she uses her Charisma instead of her Strength to determine the bonus on attack and damage roll.
This ability replaces the bloodline power gained at 1st level.
Force Barrier (Su): A telekinetic sage is able to raise a barrier of telekinetic force around herself, deflecting incoming attacks. As a swift action, the telekinetic sage may grant herself a +2 deflection bonus to AC and Damage Reduction 1/Magic. This bonus lasts indefinitely, or until the telekinetic sage is struck by a melee or ranged attack. At 7th level and each 4 levels thereafter she increases her deflection bonus to AC and damage reduction by 1.
This ability replaces the bloodline power gained at 3rd level.
