Absorb Energy [Xenotheric] Prerequisites: Deflect ProjectilesBenefit: This feat behave like deflect projectiles in every way except for the following: it only work for rays and projectiles created by spells, powers and supernatural abilities and you cannot reflect attacks. Unlike deflect projectiles you do not take damage from deflecting ray, instead it heal you for half the damage it would normally have dealt. If you would reflect a projectile instead you are healed for the full amount of damage it would have dealt.

Whenever you absorb an incoming attack you gain a number of bio-energy charge equal to the spell level of the absorbed effect (or half the caster level of the originator of the effect if the effect has no assigned spell level). If you exceed your normal bio-energy pool you instead gain a +1 bonus to attack, damage and saving throws per charge over your normal pool size for 1 round.

The use of this feat draw from the same pool as the use of your deflect projectiles feat. The bonus granted by defense of the amazon is also granted to absorb energy.
