Wizards and armor rarely mix. The weight bears them down, the stiffness foils the details of their somatic components, and shields throw them off balance. Mithril and magical enhancements helps, but upon casting this spell, it feels like you're wearing nothing as all.
Your arcane spell failure chance is reduced by 5%, and by an additional 5% every 3 caster levels (to a maximum of 30% at 15th). If multiple sources grant arcane spell failure, this lowers the spell failure of each item. It has no effect on armor check penalty, speed, and does not grant proficiency.
Material Component: Hair from a dwarf's beard.
