Arceus is an extremely powerful creature whose progeny became a wide variety of magical creatures, and who is believed to have created at least one Prime world. Arceus' powers are amplified by a number of magically infused plates, each of which have a link to him; these allow him to grant power to his clerics and operate as holy/unholy symbols (typically, the type of plate will reflect this).
Dogma[edit]
Arceus has very little in the way of dogma; his clerics are encouraged to maintain and live in harmony with nature around them, although the way of carrying this out varies, since "nature" in this case includes such creatures as Otyughs and Koffing.
Clergy and Temples[edit]
Arceus's clergy generally don't form major organizations devoted to his worship; rather, they join the same organizations as Pokémasters and spread his teachings from there. In fact, the vast, vast majority of his clergy have at least one level in the Pokemaster class, since capturing Pokemon is considered not only an acceptable practice, but a way of becoming closer to Arceus himself.
