Ballroom Brawler
A refined unarmed combatant, the ballroom brawler is used to both bloody personal combat and the comfort of high society. While their fighting style might be criticized as brutish and primitive, their etiquette and manners are excellent.
Class: CavalierPathfinder
Level: 1st, 3rd, 4th, 8th, 11th, 12th, 16th, 20th
Replaces: Order (Altered), Mount, Cavalier’s charge, Expert trainer, Mighty charge, Supreme Charge
Benefit: A ballroom brawler receive the following class features:
Sophisticated Bruiser (Ex):: A ballroom brawler adds Knowledge (Local), Disguise, and Knowledge (Nobility) to his class skill list and gain 2 extra skill points per level. A ballroom brawler add half his class level as a bonus on Knowledge (Local) to learn information about a venue, Knowledge (Nobility) checks to recognize a particular noble, and on Diplomacy when attending a high society party.
This ability alters skills and replaces his normal order's skill bonus.
Brawler's Elegance (Ex): A ballroom brawler is comfortable both in armor or out. When unarmored he adds his Charisma modifier to his AC, to a maximum of his cavalier's class level.
Refined Fisticuffs (Ex): A ballroom brawler gain Improved Unarmed Strike as a bonus feat. A ballroom brawler's unarmed strike deals damage as a monk of his class level -2, minimum 1. Additionally a ballroom brawler is adept at fighting with improvised weapons, and gains Catch Off-Guard as a bonus feat.
This ability replaces Mount.
Pugilist's Challenge (Ex): At 3rd level, whenever a ballroom brawler attacks an opponent he challenged with an unarmed strike or improvised weapon, he increases the bonus damage from his challenge by half his class level.
This ability replaces Cavalier's Charge, Mighty Charge and Supreme Charge.
Cosmopolitan Talents (Ex): A 4th level ballroom brawler gains a vigilante social talent, using his cavalier level as his vigilante level. For the purpose of vigilante social talents, a ballroom brawler does not have a vigilante identity and is always considered to be in his social identity. At 8th level and each 4 levels thereafter, the ballroom brawler selects another social talent. At 11th level, the ballroom brawler gains the skill unlock of any single Dexterity or Charisma-based skill.
This ability replaces Expert Trainer.
