Cantrip Training [General] While most in your profession have skipped out on the most basic of magic, you've decided to learn it.Prerequisites: At least 1 level in a spellcasting class without 0th level spells.Benefit: Choose a class with either delayed spellcasting or partial spellcasting that you have at least 1 level in that also doesn't grant 0th level spells. You gain a caster level of 1 if you do not yet have access to the spellcasting progression of that class (due to too few levels). You gain the ability to cast 0th level spells for levels in that class. The type of cantrips (or orisons) that you gain, and how many, are based on your class, using the nearest equivalent casting progression as a base. These cantrips are cast as normal for the levels you have in your chosen class. Example: Assassin gains cantrips as a bard. Blackguard and paladin gains orisons as a cleric. Ranger gains orisons as a Druid.Special: If the chosen class is a prestige class and you gain 0th level casting for a class you already possess, you may stack those levels together to determine their progression when necessary.
