Low - Moderate - High - Combat Magician
A combat magician is an adept of both the battlefield and the esoteric world of magic.
Class: Sorcerer
Level: 1-20
Replaces: Base Attack Bonus, Hit Dice, Weapon and Armor Proficiency (changed), Familiar (removed), Spell per Day (changed)
Benefit: Combat Magic, Combat Casting, Channeling Item
Base Attack Bonus: A combat Magician's sorcerer base attack bonus change to medium (as cleric).
Hit Dice: A combat magician's sorcerer hit dice increase by one-step (d4 to d6 in 3.5e).
Proficiency: You gain proficiency with light armor, all simple weapons and martial weapons. You are proficient with all shield except tower shields.
Combat Casting: At 1st level a combat magician sorcerer gain combat casting as a bonus feat even if she doesn't meet the prerequisites.
Combat Magic: A combat magician ignore arcane spell failure from light armor, light and heavy shields. The battle magician however has fewer daily spell slot, subtract one spell per day from each spell level on Table: The Sorcerer (to a minimum of one spells per day). For example, a 1st-level battle sorcerer may cast four 0-level spells and two 1st-level spells per day (plus bonus spells, if any).
Channeling Item: A sorcerer may designate any one weapon she own as her channeling item. Her channeling item freely gain the focus enhancement. The battle magician may only have one channeling item at the time, she can designate another weapon as her channeling item by doing a 8 hours ritual, the former channeling item then lose the focus enhancement and the new one get it.
