Created by the wizard Bianca after a night of pizza, nachos, and watching the Matrix movie, this spell transforms the body into raw information which can be transmitted down any method of communication. Though she typically used phone lines, it was soon discovered it worked equally as well on active scrying pools, magic mirrors of communication, the commune spell, and active telepathy.

When you cast this spell the targets bodies discorporate into raw information and are sent along to the destination point of any communication channel. To cast this spell you must have a communication channel (such as a phone line in modern times, or a scrying pool for more fantasy methods) currently active as the focus. You transport from your current location to the other end of the communication, transmitted through the same energy that enables communication in the first place, even across planes, without error. Though this appears to be teleportation, it is not teleportation and not stopped by teleportation blocking effects. On the other hand, it requires an active connection via equipment, magic item, or active non-instantaneous spell to pass through. Upon arriving they appear in the nearest valid space.

If the connection is severed for any reason before transportation is completed, all targets take 5d6 backlash damage and are returned to their original positions. Attempting to contact deities and then transporting to them is a bad idea, as deities can deny transportation and it will often gain their ire.

Focus: A method of communication between two points, or the caster of a spell allowing communication between two points (such as in the case of commune).
