The boots have tire tracks on their bottom and smell of burning rubber. While in use they give off a rumble akin to a automobile engine.
These boots grant a +50 untyped bonus to base land speed. They operate just fine, until the user moves more than 50 feet in a single round. Then the curse comes into play; if the user fails to move at least 50 feet each round or is stopped for any reason, the shoes detonate in a massive fireball centered on the user (20d6 hellfire, bypassing normal fire resistances and immunities) with a DC 25 Reflex save for half. The user does not receive a saving throw. The user becomes aware the bomb will go off if they go under 50 feet a round once the curse comes into effect, and the boots will not come off while the curse is in effect unless break enchantment or higher is cast on them. This allows removal, but doesn't disarm the bomb.
Prerequisites: Craft Wondrous Item, fireball, haste.
Cost to Create: 10,000 gp, 800 EXP, 20 days.
