Dark Scoundrel

Not all Antipaladin are armored champions with heavy weapons that strikes fear in the heart of men. The dark scoundrels are wily and tricky, preferring to use deceit and trickery to gain upper hand rather than brute force.

Class: Antipaladin

Level: 1st, 3rd

Replaces: Armor Proficiency, Aura of Cowardice

Benefit: A Dark Scoundrel receive the following class features:

Armor & Weapon Proficiency: A Dark Scoundrel does not gain proficiency with medium armor, heavy armor and shields.

Deceitful Wrench (Ex): A Dark Scoundrel gain half her class level a bonus on Bluff checks and the Improved Feint feat as a bonus feat even if she does not meet its prerequisites.

Aura of Deceit (Ex): At 3rd level, a cutthroat champion radiates a dreadful deceptive aura that causes all enemies within 10 feet to take a –4 penalty on Sense Motive against being feinted. A creature successfully feinted by the antipaladin in that aura is flat-footed for 1 round against the attacks of the antipaladin. This ability functions only while the antipaladin remains conscious, not if she is unconscious or dead.

Nimble (Ex) At 3rd level, a dark scoundrel gains a +1 dodge bonus to AC while wearing light or no armor. Anything that causes the dark scoundrel to lose her Dexterity bonus to AC also causes her to lose this dodge bonus. This bonus increases by 1 for every 4 levels beyond 3rd (to a maximum of +5 at 19th level).
