An incomplete version of a more powerful spell, this spell sent dozen of spearheads made of light flying toward your foe. You aim each spear fragment, dividing them between a number of targets within spell range. You make a single ranged attack against each target, if you aim more than one fragment at a target the attack gain a +1 bonus per additional fragment. For this ranged attack you use your spellcasting ability modifier instead of your Dexterity. A single fragment deal 1d8 + your spellcasting ability score modifier in magical piercing damage. If you aim more than one spear fragments at a target, it deal an additional d8 per additional fragment but the ability modifier is only added once.
You create three fragments, plus one additional fragment for every two levels beyond 5th (to a maximum of ten fragments). The spear fragments are able to damage incorporeal foes as if they were Ghost Touch. The damage dealt by this spell count as aligned with your alignment for the purpose of bypass damage reduction or regeneration.
