Low - Moderate - Educated Barbarian
Not all barbarian are braindead maniacs, the educated barbarian is a a clever warrior more than capable of using his brain to bring down the opposition. In exchange for a weaker rage progression and increased MAD, the educated barbarian gain much needed versatility.
Class: Barbarian
Level: 1st, 3rd, 6th, 9th, 11h, 12th, 15th, 18th
Replaces: Skills, Illiteracy, Rage (and all improvement), Trap Sense, Medium Armor Proficiency
Benefit: An educated barbarian receive the following class features:
Skills: The barbarian's skill list and skill points changes to the following;
(6 + Int modifier) Balance (Dex), Climb (Str), Craft (Int), Diplomacy (Cha), Handle Animal (Cha), Heal (Wis), Intimidate (Cha), Jump (Str), Knowledge (all skills, taken individually) (Int), Listen (Wis), Profession (Wis), Ride (Dex), Spot (Wis), Survival (Wis), Swim (Str), and Tumble (Dex).
AC Bonus (Ex): When a Educated Barbarian is wearing light or no armor and is carrying no more than a light load she gain half of her class level as an insight bonus to AC, to a maximum equal to her Intelligence modifier. This bonus does not apply if she is caught by surprise.
Lore of the World: A 1st level barbarian gain bardic knowledge as a bard of his barbarian level. This ability replace illiteracy.
Bonus Feat: At 3rd level and each 3 level thereafter the educated barbarian gain a [fighter] bonus feat. The educated barbarian count half his level in barbarian as level in fighter for the purpose of meeting prerequisites. This ability replace trap sense.
Tranquil Fury: At 3rd level the Educated Barbarian gain a Tranquil Fury. It behave as the barbarian's rage except it does not restrict the educated barbarian's actions, do not reduced your AC, and bonus to Strength and Constitution (or other ability score) is reduced by 2. Tranquil Fury improved as normal for rage.
