This shotgun is covered in strange runes, and has no place for ammo. It fires waves of supernatural energy instead.
A strange shotgun, it fires no bullets but instead as a standard action releases a 30 ft cone of energy, dealing 1d6 points of damage with a Reflex save for half, (DC 15 + your Charisma modifier). This is identical to an eldritch blast, use the item caster level or your own for bypassing spell resistance checks. If you actually possess an eldritch blast you may use your own eldritch blast damage if higher, and may use essences and other abilities that apply to eldritch blasts. This effectively is the eldritch cone shape, and thus does not stack with other shapes. Any weapon enhancements place on the weapon apply to your eldritch blast channeled through it, and +X enhancement apply to the DC.
Eldritch shotguns are a two-handed projectile weapon that requires Exotic Weapon Proficiency (Eldritch Weapon) to use, or else its DCs take a -4 non-proficiency penalty. It shares its proficiency with other "Eldritch" weapons.
Prerequisites: Craft Magic Arms and Armor, must be able to use eldritch cone blast shape.
Cost to Create: 13,500 gp, 1080 EXP, 27 days.
