An elemental mentalist sacrifices the ability to implant tricks to instead learn to use spells of specific elements. These mesmerist are often associated with geniekind, using guile and trickery alongside their powerful elemental magic,

Level: 1st-20th
Replaces: Mesmerist trick, manifold trick
Benefit: A elemental mentalist gain the following class feature:
Elemental Affinity (Ex): A 1st level elemental mentalist selects a specific kineticist element from the following list: Air, Earth, Fire or Water. She gains the element’s basic utility wild talent and at 2nd level, 4th level and each two levels thereafter, the elemental mentalist chooses a single spell of any level she can cast from the Druid or the Sorcerer/Wizard list with a descriptor associated with the chosen element. She adds that spell to her spell known list.
Associated Descriptor: Air (Air, Electricity), Earth (Acid, Earth), Fire (Fire) and Water (Cold, Water)
This ability replaces mesmerist tricks and manifold tricks.
