This tower shield became infamous due to the Evergreen Warrior Druids, who would use these items on their canyon raids.
This +1 tower shield became known as such due to the efforts of the Evergreen Warrior Druids who, in their efforts to stymie the growth of nearby civilizations, would perform raids on caravans passing through enclosed areas and block supply chains. It is covered with multi-colored patchwork scales over a teal-hued wooden frame. Beyond its uses as a normal tower shield, in any corridor, passage, or space of 30 ft or less it can be planted in the ground as a move action and form an impassable translucent barrier up to 30 ft wide, 5 ft thick, and up to 20 ft tall as a phantasmal tower shield appears sideways in the passage. As long as the wielder does not move more than 5 ft in a round they may continue the barrier for as long as they like. They can also plant the shield in the ground as a 1 round action (dropping the shield) for the same effect. It requires a DC 15 Strength check to unstick the shield off the ground.
Prerequisites: Craft Magic Arms and Armor, wall of force.
