A fetish is a limited use magic item. Often it is a piece of jewelry (pin, hair clip), but can be any small item (rabbit's foot, worry stone, dream catcher). They are the product of the likes of hedge mages, witches, low level priests, etc.
In general, they hold a small abjuration, enchantment, or illusion spell. Some fetishes can be evoked, but many automatically manifest their power when needed. Common examples would be:
- love charms
- lucky totems
- wards against evil
Usually they hold 1-3 charges, and cannot be recharged. Often, the expenditure of charges are limited (once per day, once per month, etc.)
