5e Spell
Fissure
Transmutation cantrip
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: Self (10ft Line)
Components: S
Duration: Instantaneous
Casters: Druid, Sorcerer, Wizard
You punch, kick or otherwise strike the ground, sending out a 10ft-long, 5ft-wide shockwave. You cannot cast this spell if you cannot touch a solid surface made of earth, rock, or similar material (Such as sand, tile, gravel, or etc.), and the line always travels along that surface, stopping early if the surface is broken by more than 1 foot of non-earthen material (Including wooden walls, metal tracks, or etc), or if the line collides with a conjured magical barrier of any sort (Such as a Wall of Force or a Wall of Fire, but not personal barriers such as a Shield spell).
Creatures caught in the line must make a Dexterity saving throw or suffer nonmagical Bludgeoning damage equal to your spellcasting ability modifier; A creature that rolls a natural 1 on their saving throw also falls prone. The area within the line is considered difficult terrain until the start of your next turn.
At Higher Levels. At 5th level, the line increases to 20ft long, and the damage increases to 1d4 + your spellcasting ability modifier. The line's length increases by 10ft, and the damage increases by 1d4, at 11th level (30ft and 2d4) and at 17th level (40ft and 3d4).
