Focused Trance

Instead of flying into a berserker rage, your psychic powers flare up and you can tap into an inner reserve of energy you didn't know you had. However the transformation is taxing on your body and mind.

Class: Wrathmind

Level: 1st, 10th, 20th

Replaces: Wrath

Benefit: The Wrathmind's Wrath ability is replaced by Focused Trance

Focused Trance (Su): As a free action the Wrathmind may enter Focused Trance by expending her psionic focus, which cause her appearance to change and a powerful aura to shroud her. In Focused Trance her agility and psionic ability greatly increase, granting a +4 bonus to Strength and Charisma. Unlike a normal Wrath you do take a penalty to AC and you may use any skills, in fact you gain the ability to take 10 even in situation you wouldn't be able to. When in Focused Trance gain two extra temporary power points per class level which last until expended or until the end of your Focused Trance. Additionally any non-instantaneous power manifested using these power points have their duration shortened to "until the end of your Focused Trance" if otherwise longer. Unlike a normal Wrath however each round you stay in Focused Trance you lose 1 power point from your actual power point reserve, if you reach 0 power points your Focused Trance immediately end and you become Stunned for 1 round.

You may stay in Focused Trance for a number of rounds per day equal to 4 + your Charisma modifier, each class level beyond the first you gain 2 additional rounds of uses per day. After you stop being in a Focused Trance you become Fatigued for 2 rounds for each round of uses. You cannot enter Focused Trance while exhausted, fatigued or at 0 power points.

At 10th level the bonus to Strength and Charisma increase to +6 and the number of temporary power granted become triple class level. At 20th level the bonus to Strength and Charisma increase to +8 the number of temporary power granted become quadruple class level.

Focused Trance count as Rage/Wrath for any prerequisites or benefits.
