For a greatsword it was unusually short, thick, and seemingly dull. However as it struck the giant its surface erupted into a whirling razor, actively digging into flesh.
This +1 greatsword of dwarven design seems to be forged to battle giants, and any creature of significant size. Giants and creatures three or more size categories larger than the wielder have the effect of Bane against them. On a natural 20, it digs into their ankles (if any) and severs important tendons and muscles. This has the effect of a successful application of caltrops and knocks the target prone, in spite of their prodigious size. Creatures without ankles or similar body parts are immune to this effect.
